About the role
We're looking for a hands-on Accountant to join our vibrant finance team on a 4-6 month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, reconciliations, and supporting key financial processes across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management and executive reports
• Manage journals, accruals, payroll variance reports and reconciliations
• Complete BAS, FBT and other statutory reporting as required
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and support IFRS16 lease accounting
• Support system administration of Great Plains (training, user setup, issue resolution)
• Assist with audit workpapers, compliance, and process improvement initiatives

About you

• Degree qualified in Accounting/Commerce
• CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion
• Solid experience preparing management accounts and reconciliations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly
• Proficiency in accounting / ERP system
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
