We have two exciting opportunities to join the team as Research Officer, Screening & Testing, supporting the delivery of clinical trials within the Computational Neuroscience Laboratory and the Addiction and Impulsivity Research group. In these roles, you will help ensure effective participant recruitment, screening and testing for trials exploring psychedelic-based psychotherapy for the treatment of addiction. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, therapists and clinicians, you will contribute to the safe and compliant delivery of trial protocols while assisting in the robust evaluation of outcomes. These positions are fixed-term with the possibility of extension subject to funding.
Responsibilities include being actively involved in participant-facing activities, including screening, scheduling, cognitive and psychopathology assessments and brain scanning. We are seeking candidates with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field with demonstrated capacity to support research projects. Experience in participant-facing research activities, particularly administering standardised assessments with clinical populations, will be highly valued.
