We have been asked to assist with recruiting a Sales Support Specialist / Sales Coordinator to work within the sales team, this is not a sales role with an individual target, but will involve account management, vendor management, client management & support of the sales team from an administrative & project perspective.
This is a permanent role & offers the luxury of being hybrid which heading into 2025 is a luxury not many businesses are still offering.
Position-specific tasks and responsibilities:
Quote creation for software renewals & new subscriptions
Updating and creation of service tickets in relation to PC builds and/or licensing
Conversion of all quotes into purchase orders, and procurement of all software and hardware, including daily review of stock in backorder and ETAs
Stock receiving, including management of inward stock and updating internal channels and/or teams
Communicate across teams in relation to stock, and/or as required to provide updates to clients directly (ETAs)
Management of the suppliers queue, and providing support in management of the sales queue, including assigning tickets to team members for action and/or follow up
Updating software/hardware configurations with new expiry dates, and/or inputting new software/hardware into configurations
Liaise with vendors in regards to stock ETAs, RMAs and other ad hoc communications
Review and/or request approvals for hardware builds
Preparation of hardware for shipping as necessary
Invoice entry into MYOB
Skills and Experience Required:
2 + years experience in a sales support, sales coordination or junior sales role ideally in the technology / SaaS / IT / ICT industry (Not a deal breaker)
Strong Microsoft skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and any other relevant tools
Administration and customer service skills
You must be an Australian Citizen OR Permanent Resident to be considered
Understanding & interest in the technology (IT) industry & working within a technology business
Data entry accuracy
A team player with the ability to actively listen, process feedback, reflect, learn and help others learn
Flexible within agreed policy and frameworks with ability to adapt as the organization evolves
Ability to build and maintain quality working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Ability to plan and work to deadlines with excellent attention to detail
