About the Role
This position is based at Forensicare’s Fairfield administration site, at the Thomas Embling Hospital.
The Business Improvement Coordinator supports the development and continuous improvement of People & Corporate Services capabilities and provision of high-quality initiatives and service delivery.
Reporting into the Business Improvement Lead and collaborating closely with the broader People & Corporate Services team, the role plays an integral role in championing continuous improvement, process & efficiency and productivity across the organisation.
As the Business Improvement Coordinator, you will:
- Assist in the development and execution of initiatives to improve Business Support Services initiatives and delivery, including provision of effective self-service tools.
- Identify process inefficiencies and proposing process improvements aligned with business goals.
- First point of contact for all Promapp enquiries including ownership of Promapp Support inbox.
- Administering the Promapp process management framework, including the development of registers and any internal controls to support in the development of a mature business improvement culture.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment for all process and service improvements.
- Development and maintenance of user documentation and a ‘Self Help’ SharePoint site for Staff.
- Ensuring Promapp training materials are kept current and updated to include system enhancements when required.
About You:
- Key selection criteria
- Motivated self-starter with a positive and collaborative approach.
- Critical thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and reporting skill
- Experience using Promapp, or other process mapping tools, or proven involvement in improvement initiatives advantageous.
- An understanding of improvement, process design and/or change methodologies (e.g., Lean, SixSigma, PCI, Prosci, Design Thinking) beneficial but not required.

Forensicare (Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health) is the state-wide specialist provider of forensic mental health services in Victoria. Forensicare is the only agency in Victoria that provides clinical forensic mental health services which span all components of the mental health and criminal justice sectors – giving Forensicare a unique perspective on mental health and public safety issues. It is able to provide specialist forensic mental health services tailored to meet the specific needs of both sectors.
We provide forensic mental health services for people:
with a serious mental illness in the criminal justice system
at risk of offending who pose a risk to themselves or others
