About the Opportunity

The VMO Claims Officer works as part of the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital (WWBH) Medical Administration Unit (MAU) and is responsible for the preparation and data quality checking of all WWBH Visiting Medical Officer’s (VMO) claims.

The position is responsible for providing support to Medical Officers and their practices.

The position is also required to liaise with health support services, hospital management and finance with issues directly related to Visiting Medical Officer’s Claims.

About You:

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

High-level organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.

Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Demonstrated working knowledge of the V-Money system, IPM, Surginet, Powerchart, Firstnet, Oracle, Proact and other software packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Understanding of policies and procedures related to the payment of VMO Claims.
