Our client, a large Australian Federal Government financial intelligence agency, are Seeking the experience of a Senior Platform as a Service Engineer.

Duties of the Senior PaaS Engineer

• Primarily responsible for running application infrastructure and supporting project teams delivering solutions into production;
• Work closely with the development and product teams to bring their applications through the SDLC (software development lifecycle).
• Infrastructure as code deployment onto Kubernetes (ideally with Kustomize);
• Kubernetes platform deployment (ideally with Kubespray);
• Deploying and supporting; Apache Spark, Kafka (Strimzi) and Elasticsearch on Kubernetes;
• Using Atlassian Jira/Confluence to manage work activities.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong Ansible skills;
• Git source control knowledge;
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA);
