About the role

Sanctuary Early Learning Adventure Buderim is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join their team in Buderim. This part-time role will see you leading a team of educators and providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners.

What you'll be doing

• Plan, implement and evaluate a stimulating educational program that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families, supporting each child's individual needs and interests
• Lead and mentor a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment
• Ensure the nursery space is safe, engaging and promotes learning and development
• Maintain detailed records and documentation to support children's learning and development
• Work closely with the Centre Director to continually improve the nursery program

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Nursery Educator or similar role
• Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and the team
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care
• Current First Aid, CPR
• Working with Children Check/Blue Card
