Our client is looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes platform deployment and infrastructure as code (IaC) to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in deploying, managing, and supporting critical big data and streaming technologies on Kubernetes clusters in a secure and scalable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage infrastructure as code onto Kubernetes clusters, ideally leveraging Kustomize.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes platforms, preferably using Kubespray.
• Develop and automate configuration management and orchestration using Ansible.
• Manage source control and CI/CD workflows with Git.
• Deploy and support Apache Spark, Kafka (Strimzi), and Elasticsearch within Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams in a hybrid remote setting.
• Utilize Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage tasks and documentation.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience with infrastructure as code deployments on Kubernetes (Kustomize preferred).
• Hands-on experience deploying Kubernetes platforms, ideally with Kubespray.
• Strong skills in Ansible automation.
• Solid knowledge of Git version control.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems, preferably Ubuntu.
• Experience deploying and supporting Apache Spark, Kafka (Strimzi), and Elasticsearch on Kubernetes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid remote teams.
• Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

Desirable Qualifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Experience with Apache Proxy using mod_security.
• Familiarity with Forgerock OpenAM/IDS/DS/IG.
• Exposure to GitLab for source control and CI/CD.
• Experience integrating SaaS, AWS Cloud, and on-premises solutions.
