Maintenance Operator - St Marys
Our client is seeking a new team member to join their maintenance team on day shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:20pm).
This is a casual position with the potential for permanency based on skill set and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance and repair of reinforcing steel machinery
  
• Work with and around overhead cranes, welding gear, and other plant equipment
  
• Perform basic welding and oxy-cutting when required
  
• Safely use a wide range of hand and power tools
  
• Support the maintenance team with daily tasks
  
• Contribute to a safe and efficient workplace by following procedures and safety standards
  

Requirements:

• Experience with basic welding and oxy-cutting
  
• Competent in the use of hand and power tools
  
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and overhead cranes
  
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  
• Safety-focused and able to follow instructions carefully
  

Good to Have (but not essential):

• Forklift licence/ticket
  
• Trade background (fitter/electrical)
