Our client, Singleton Council, is seeking an experienced Operator to join their Waste Management Facility team. This is a temporary role expected to run for approximately 6 months.

About the role

You will be responsible for operating plant and equipment to support daily landfill operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Roster: 7am–5pm, rotating roster, working every 2nd weekend

Start: As early as next week

Tenure: Approximately 6 months

What we’re looking for

Dozer ticket (essential)

Bonus for experience with excavators, wheel loaders, landfill compactors

Previous waste management or civil operations experience advantageous

Commitment to safety, teamwork, and council standards
