Join Our Team at GYC - Part-Time Retail Support Role (3-4 days)

We’re looking for a motivated and energetic team member to join our Peakhurst retail store in a part-time position. If you have a background in retail, or are eager to learn, we want to hear from you! This role is all about providing excellent service to our customers and supporting our team in any way you can.

About the Company

GYC is a successful family-run business specialising in garden power equipment. With multiple retail outlets across Sydney, we stock leading brands such as Honda, Victa, Stihl, Toro, Cub Cadet, and Greenworks. We are proud to offer the best after-sales service and a wide range of genuine spare parts to support our products.

About the Role

This is a vital role within our store team. You’ll be responsible for:

Responding to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email

Picking and packing orders, as well as assembling and preparing products for display

Maintaining store presentation and cleanliness

Assisting with any other tasks to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service

Some Saturday work will be required.

About You

We value a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Your previous experience in retail is a plus, but not essential. What’s important is that you:

Are proactive and eager to help with any task, no need to be asked

Have strong customer service skills and are a good listener

Are energetic, detail-oriented, and can keep things organised in a busy work environment

Are comfortable using a computer
