About the role

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Part-Full Time Dispensary Technician to join our pharmacy team at Erskine Discount Drug Store in Erskine, WA 6210. As a part-time role, this position offers the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments. We are looking for someone who can start ASAP/immediate start.

Hours are Tuesday/Wednesday to Saturday.

9.00am to 5.00pm through the week and 8.00am to 4.30pm on Saturday.

What you'll be doing

Assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.

Accurately measuring, counting, and labeling medications.

Managing stock control and receiving inventory.

Closing and managing PBS Claims, SN submissions and rejections, NDSS claims.

Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and pharmacy policies

Supporting the overall efficient operation of the pharmacy

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Dispensary Technician that is willing and able to work during the week and a weekend day.

Minimum 1-2 years of dispensary technician experience is required.

Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, procedures, and medication management

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals

Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology, familiarity with FRED dispense or other pharmacy software (advantageous)
