About the role

We're seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team at Blue Water Engineering. As a full-time CNC Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC machines to produce high-quality machined parts at our Molendinar, QLD facility. This is a hands-on, technical role that plays a crucial part in our engineering operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts as per engineering specifications

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up machines and programs

Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality

Collaborate with the engineering team to identify process improvements

Maintain detailed production records and logs

Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, programming, and maintenance

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and equipment

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work area

Good communication and teamwork skills
