Workforce are seeking an experienced carpenter for works with a local government sector. This engagement as an initial 3 month engagement with possibility for extension for a suitable candidate. This role would ideally suit an experienced and qualified carpenter seeking their next opportunity.

Experience working in bridge construction or maintenance is highly desired but not necessary.

Experience with formwork and concrete is highly desirable but not necessary.

About the role:

$46.07/hour + Super + Penalties + Applicable Allowances

4 days per week (9.5hr days)

Work within a government sector

Immediate start for the right candidate

Living away from home may be required

3 month initial engagement with potential for extension

Central Waratah location

A successful candidate will:

Hold relevant trade qualification (Certificate III Carpentry)

Hold demonstrated experience working as a carpenter

Hold OHS White Card

Be able to satisfy a pre-employment physical including D&A screening

Have a strong safety focus and uphold safety in the highest regard
