About the role

Mink Building Group is seeking an experienced Carpenter or an apprentice carpenter to join our dynamic team on the northern beaches, NSW. As a Carpenter/apprentice carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of residential and building projects. This is a full-time position, offering competitive remuneration and opportunities for professional development.

What you'll be doing

Interpret and follow detailed construction plans and blueprints

Measure, cut, and assemble wooden structures and components

Install and finish various types of flooring, doors, windows, and cabinetry

Perform maintenance and repairs on existing structures

Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualifications or experience in carpentry or cabinet making

Entry level and apprentice candidates are encouraged to apply as formal qualifications are not mandatory

Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

A commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations

Strong communication and teamwork skills
