Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a FIFO Carpenter to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We're seeking an Experience Tradesman with Australian Carpentry and Joinery Trade Qualifications or Shop Fitting Qualifications, who has sound knowledge of joinery and shop fitting and experience in both domestic and commercial work environments. This role provides you with an opportunity to work on diverse machinery as our Technical Services team are the trades people of Yulara. You will have the opportunity to become a true specialist in the field as the closest contracting partner is 5 hours away!

We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, a Valid Australian Open Driver's License is required for all our trades roles.

Key Duties

• Carry out all trade related installations, maintenance and repairs as requested by the Technical Services Manager in a trade’s person like manner.
• Attend to all trade related construction, repairs and maintenance as requested.
• Maintain accurately the records facility contained within the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Ensure efficient productive and safe work practices are applied and all records and time sheets are accurately maintained.
• Carry out all preventative maintenance as per the schedule laid down by the programmed maintenance manuals.
