Green Light Worldwide are seeking a skilled SeniorConsultant for VCF to join our Sydney delivery team, playing a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade VMware solutions. The Senior Consultantfor VCF will partner with stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver robust and scalable infrastructure solutions, leveraging VMware’s Software-Defined Data Center technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and configure VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions across enterprise environments.
• Provide expertise in VMware SDDC components including vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, and vRealize Suite.
• Conduct health checks, upgrades, and lifecycle management of VCF deployments.
• Work with clients to gather requirements, translate into technical solutions, and deliver best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues within VMware environments.
• Document solutions, configurations, and operational processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project teams where required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a VMware Consultant or similar role, with strong focus on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Hands-on expertise with:
• vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, vRealize Suite
• SDDC Manager lifecycle management
• Enterprise networking and security principles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant VMware certifications (e.g., VCF Specialist, VCP, VCAP, VCDX) highly regarded.

Certifications: (Highly Desirable)

• VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
• VMware Certified Professional – Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VCIX in DCV/NV/Cloud
• VMware Certified Specialist – vRealize Automation 8.x
• VMware Cloud Foundation Specialist
