We are currently seeking experienced Retail Security Officers who can work on a casual capacity in retail and Liquor store environment.

Applicants must be confident in their skills to de-escalate situations using verbal communication and body language and Have experience in taking control of situations and supporting retail workers.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting into the onsite Store management, Z Protection Services staff & Client Delivery Manager, the Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers & patrons of the stores. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work as a Casual and previous experience as retail security officer is highly desirable.

Skills and experience

To Be Successful for this role; you will possess the following;

Current VIC Security License

Current First Aid Certificate

Current Police Check no older than 3 months

Proven experience in retail security and Customer Service industries.

Excellent presentation and grooming standards

A Positive and Proactive Approach

Passion for delivering professional and efficient customer service

Evening & weekend availability are essential for part time employees.

Strong written communication skills, including incident report writing.

Ability to multi task and work autonomously in high paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Be vigilant to possible swarming incidents

conduct high visibility patrols within the store

Instant Incident reporting.

Provide great customer Service.

Report any form of anti social behavior to Vic Pol.

Operate the key controller on the entry/exit door.

Ability to Use Body worn Cameras.

Reporting incidents immediately after the incident.
