Entee Mining has a unique opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Mine Manager/Site Senior Executive to lead our Blackridge Open Cut Gold Mine operations approximately 20klms north of Clermont, Queensland.

As the Mine Manager/Site Senior Executive you will bring a wealth of experience in open cut mining, exceptional leadership ability and an unwavering commitment to safety and environmental sustainability. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the planning, coordination, and management of our mining activities, ensuring the efficient and safe production of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all mine site activities, ensuring compliance with the SHMS, regulations, policies and procedures.

Ensure the safe extraction of gold.

Develop and implement mine plans and strategies.

Manage daily operations and personnel, maintaining high safety standards and risk management.

Achieve rehabilitation objectives and ensure compliance with legislation.

Develop and implement health and safety management processes to reduce work health, safety and occupational risks.

Deliver results within timeframes and budgets, aligning with company goals.

Assist in development and implementation of strategic plans.

Foster a high performing and inclusive culture and provide leadership, mentoring and training.

Implement cost saving measures and improvements to ensure operational efficiencies.

Collaborate on budget monitoring, production KPIs and safety.

Manage performance reviews and recruitment of personnel.

Oversee the maintenance, repair and reliability of plant and equipment

Ensure reliability and monitoring of production targets.

Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and assist with procurement and logistics.

Perform other duties as directed by the Managing Director and Board.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Competencies recognised by the Mining Safety and Health Advisory Committee - Site Senior Executive of a surface mine employing more than 20 persons with drilling and blasting competencies.

Extensive operational and management experience in open cut mineral, preferably gold mining with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.

Prior experience managing and overseeing a team of approximately 30 employees.

Current and valid Queensland Driver’s Licence.

Strong communication skills, including interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing, both verbally and in writing.

Successfully implementing and maintaining new operational strategies.

Proficiency in IT systems, including but not limited to Mex Maintenance Software, Microsoft suite including Excel and Teams, and SharePoint.

Current Mineral Mine Queensland Medical or willingness to obtain.
