The Golden Barley Hotel is an independent Inner West pub with a huge dog-friendly garden, live music, award-winning dining, and a buzzing community vibe. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Duty Manager to lead our front-of-house team across bar, bistro, and gaming.
The role
Lead shifts and be the senior manager on duty, overseeing all areas of the venue during peak trading periods.
Manage customer experience, team performance, and compliance requirements
Handle opening/closing, cash control, and reconciliation
Support training and development of junior managers and our wider team
What we’re looking for
Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a pub, bar or multi-department venue
Strong knowledge of gaming, food, and beverage operations
Confident handling of compliance (RSA, RCG, ARCG, Licence and Plan of Management)
A hands-on leader with excellent communication and time management skills
What we offer
Salary $77,000–$80,000 + super
