Adeona Mackay is currently seeking an innovative, passionate and enthusiastic Part-time Educator (hold or willing to study a Diploma). Please note, you must be able to do Open (6:45am-3:45pm) and Close shifts (8:30am - 5:30pm). The position is for between 30 - 37.5 hours.

The successful candidate must hold or be willing to study for a Diploma and will join the dedicated team at our 'Happiness Centred Business' within a positive working environment.

Adeona Mackay is a small play-based, privately owned long daycare centre in Mackay. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care. This position aims to work well within the visionary team that already exists at Adeona, to create quality, happy and safe environments for the children and the families who attend our service.

Some of the duties and responsibilities for these positions include, but are not limited to, the following;

Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework

General cleaning duties

Nappy changing and participating in routine times.

Participating in staff meetings and Professional Development sessions

Ability to use initiative

Engaging in reflective practice and positive change

Supervision of children at all times

Observations of children to supplement documentation
