Key Responsibilities

Solve technical challenges

Migrate our front end to React.js, providing a modern, high-performance experience.

Optimise platform performance to ensure scalability and reliability.

Develop impactful, customer-focused features that solve real-world problems.

Lead and deliver

Architect, design, and build scalable web applications using React.js and TypeScript.

Develop and optimise database solutions with MongoDB.

Deploy and manage cloud-based applications, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Collaborate and mentor

Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product and Customer Success, to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.

Maintain quality and innovate

Ensure robust testing processes to deliver reliable and scalable software.

Stay ahead of emerging best practices to maintain an innovative tech stack.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with a strong technical foundation, leadership skills, and a proactive approach.

Advanced expertise in React.js and TypeScript, with experience delivering complex, production-ready applications.

Strong understanding of scalable database design and optimisation using MongoDB.

DevOps knowledge, with experience deploying and managing cloud-based applications (GCP is highly desirable).

Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (MeteorJS experience is particularly valuable).

Proven ability to design and maintain scalable, maintainable system architectures.

Success mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to align technical solutions with business needs.
