Job Description

At Capsule Labs, we’re looking for a Front End Developer who’s excited about building modern, user-friendly applications that power the entertainment and music industry. You’ll focus on creating smooth, scalable, and engaging web experiences that connect artists, event organisers, and fans.

This role is primarily frontend, but if you have some full stack experience, that’s a huge plus. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to bring ideas to life and help shape products that transform how live events are managed and experienced.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimise, and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript, ensuring best practices in coding and architecture.

Collaborate closely with designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible UI.

Work with APIs (REST and GraphQL) to deliver seamless data flow between frontend and backend.

Optimise performance for speed, scalability, and mobile-first experiences.

Contribute to component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency across products.

Write unit and integration tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor and analyse frontend performance, and implement improvements where needed.

Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, product, and QA.

(Bonus) Contribute to backend or infrastructure tasks if you have full stack experience.

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of experience as a front end developer.

Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React and Next.js.

Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and web performance optimisation.

Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and collaborative development practices.

Strong eye for design and user experience — you care about how things look and feel as much as how they work.

Full stack knowledge (NestJS, databases, AWS) is a plus, but not required.

Passion for music, live events, or the entertainment industry is a big bonus!
