We’re now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of delivering exceptional joinery projects from estimation handover to client handover.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll be the driving force in transforming design concepts into reality. You’ll lead projects with a balance of technical expertise, planning and stakeholder communication, ensuring every detail is delivered on time, on budget and to specification. This is more than administration - it’s about leadership, problem solving and bringing together teams, clients and trades to achieve seamless outcomes.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams (Factory, Drafting, Purchasing, Installation) and external stakeholders (clients, designers, builders and trades).
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables
Review drawings, specifications and contracts for clarity and feasibility
Coordinate workshop production with site installation timelines
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations
Attend site meetings and facilitate communication across all stakeholders
Monitor quality and safety standards throughout production and installation
Track costs, manage variations and support cashflow
Anticipate risks, resolve challenges and implement mitigation strategies
Manage defect lists and ensure timely rectification
About You
You’re a strong communicator and organiser who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. With a proven track record in project management within joinery, cabinetry, or construction, you understand the technical and practical aspects of delivering high-quality joinery projects.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager in joinery/cabinetry/construction
Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes and materials
Ability to read and interpret architectural/shop drawings
Excellent planning, scheduling, and organisational skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Competency with PM software and ERP systems (Innergy highly regarded)
Sound knowledge of WHS requirements
Leadership, mentoring, and a positive “can-do” attitude
