As an ECT at Willy Wagtails your core responsibilities will include:

Direct reporting to the Owner/Director and Nominated Supervisor

Develop and implement Educational programs for ages 4-5 years in accordance with National Quality Standard Framework and Early Years Learning Framework Australia

Support and oversee the Educational programs delivered by all Educators in the service for ages 2-5 years including weekly program plans

Observation and documentation in the form of mid year and end of year reports for ages 4-5

Responsible for the Children's Transition to School statements

Overseeing the recording and documentations of mid and end of year reports for all age groups

Educational Leader role.

Write and review centre policies, procedures and practices in accordance with the National Law, National Quality Standard Framework and Early Years Learning Framework Australia

Support and maintain a positive workplace culture and supportive working environment for all Educators

Maintain positive relationships with all children, families and local community.

Conduct parent conversations (in conjunction with management) regarding any concerns with children or concerns raised by parents in a professional, empathetic and constructive manner.

Develop, review and update risk assessments for the service including excursions and visits to the centre.

Update self assessment working document in conjunction with Nominated supervisor

Review and ensure all medical action plans are up to date in conjunction with Nominated supervisor

Lead assessment and rating process in conjunction with Nominated supervisor
