About the role

Explorers Learning Academy is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team in our Preschool Room. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing, engaging and high-quality educational experience for our young learners. This full-time role is based in Bardia, NSW.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing engaging, play-based lesson plans that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development

Observing and assessing children's progress, and tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs

Building strong relationships with children and their families, and communicating regularly about each child's development

Collaborating with the wider early childhood education team to continuously improve our practices

Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Current early childhood teaching registration or eligibility for registration

At least 1 years' experience as an early childhood educator

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current early childhood pedagogy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

Passion for supporting young children's learning and development through play-based approaches

Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
