The Role
As the leader of our front of house team, this is a hands-on role at the heart of our guest experience. You’ll set the tone for every interaction, ensuring the Hurricanes brand is consistently felt through exceptional service and attention to detail.
Alongside driving daily operations across bustling weekday and weekend services, you’ll also take ownership of rostering, recruitment, budgeting, and training. Working closely with our leadership team, you’ll play a critical role in upholding our reputation for excellence while inspiring and supporting your team to deliver at the highest standard.
What You'll Do:
Lead, mentor, and inspire the FOH team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every shift
Oversee restaurant operations – compliance, rostering, stock, and cost management
Manage recruitment, training, and performance development for the team
Drive revenue while keeping a close eye on labour and operating costs
Ensure the venue’s reputation as a premium Cronulla dining destination continues to grow
Lead the team through seamless opening and closing shifts, setting the tone for success from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 2+ years’ leadership experience in a premium or high-volume restaurant
Strong knowledge of FOH and bar operations – rostering, training, cost control, compliance
RSA and full Australian working rights (WSET training a bonus)
A genuine passion for elevated hospitality and creating unforgettable guest moments
Energy, warmth, and confidence to thrive in both service and leadership
