Wagga RSL Club, a beloved community hub in Wagga for over 70 years, has an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role:

Our People & Culture Coordinator will play a key role in providing day-to-day support across all areas of the function, including but not limited to:

Developing and maintaining employee rosters to ensure our Club is adequately staffed, including being the primary point of contact for employees regarding roster changes, shift replacements and availability.

Assisting with end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising positions, screening applications, interview scheduling and conducting pre-employment checks.

Coordination of employee learning and development, including organising and delivering inductions and onboarding, identifying training needs and maintaining training related records.

Assisting with organising employee engagement activities, recognition programs and wellbeing initiatives.

About You:

2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in hospitality, tourism or a member-based organisation.

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or a willingness to undertake relevant training within the first 6-12 months of employment.

Well developed written and verbal communication skills with a professional, approachable manner.

A sound understanding of employment conditions and relevant legislation.
