About the role
TAFE SA is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant childcare team. In this role, working within a childcare environment, you are responsible for the overall development and implementation of a recognised early childhood curriculum for children aged from birth to 5 years based on each child's individual needs and interests. The Early Childhood Teacher works with a high degree of autonomy in consultation with the coordinator in delivering of the childcare and teaching programs.

This position requires the suitable applicant to have a recognised 4-year early childhood degree or qualification that is recognised by licensing authorities as an Early Childhood Teacher level.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

  • Some out of hours work may be required
  • Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required
  • Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
