Forbes Children’s Centre is seeking a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team in the Kindy space. This is a full-time, 6-month contract position working 40 hours per week, with the potential to extend longer.

About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a lead role in delivering high-quality educational programs for children aged 3½ to 5 years. You will be responsible for curriculum planning, guiding pedagogical practices, and supporting a strong team culture. Availability to work shifts between 6:45am and 6:15pm is essential.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics:

A qualified and passionate early childhood teacher with a strong understanding of child development

Skilled in planning, implementing, and evaluating play-based learning experiences

A confident communicator with strong leadership capabilities

Organised, reflective, and dedicated to continuous improvement

Willingness to lead a three-year-old preschool program

Collaborative and committed to building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Knowledgeable in primary caregiving and attachment theory

Familiar with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Experience with Circle of Security and Marte Meo approaches is highly desirable

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification)

Current Teacher Registration (SA)

Current Working with Children Check

Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) training

Previous experience working with children Kindy aged is highly regarded
