The Springfield Anglican College (TSAC) is a coeducational Kindergarten to Year 12 school with an enrolment of approximately 1200 students. TSAC is a leading independent school in the rapidly developing growth corridor of greater South West Brisbane, just 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD.

The College offers a holistic education, and has established a record of excellent academic achievement, wide-ranging cultural and sporting success and a commitment to Christian values and service to others in the Anglican tradition. The College comprises of two campuses, dedicated to Primary and Secondary schooling, respectively.

The Role

The College is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher to work in the College’s Tiny Tartan Kindergarten. This role is a Full Time fixed term position for the 2026 school year. YYou will be an educational professional who embraces the National Quality Framework (NQF) and provides educational programs of excellence in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). The successful candidate will be able to deliver a vibrant curriculum to students and possess a strong knowledge of content and pedagogy.

The Kindergarten Teacher will demonstrate a genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to embracing innovative teaching practices within a caring and inclusive environment. The role requires the ability to establish and maintain respectful partnerships with families, children, and colleagues to promote each child’s wellbeing, learning, development, and engagement in the program.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA approved equivalent teaching qualification

Queensland College of Teachers Registration

CHCPRT025 - Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or other ECEC approved equivalent)

Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), and National Quality Framework (NQF)

Current Qld Working with Children Blue Card or Exemption Card

Current First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management

Full Australian working rights

Experience in a school-based kindergarten is valued but not essential – new graduates are welcome to apply
