Senior Civil Designer – Full Time Contract (Immediate Start)

Are you an experienced Senior Civil Designer with strong 12D and AutoCAD/BricsCAD skills, ready to hit the ground running? We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled designer to join our team on a full-time contract, starting immediately.

About the Role

In this role, you will work under the guidance of our engineers to independently model and draft civil design plans for a range of infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for delivering precise, high-quality 2D and 3D drawings across bulk earthworks, landfills, dams, drainage, roads, and associated mine infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate 3D models and 2D design drawings for civil and mining projects

Provide 2D figures and drawings for reports as required

Ensure all deliverables meet company QA standards

Collaborate with engineers, management, and clients to support project delivery

Contribute to drafting standards and template development for the wider drafting team

Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience using 12D Model and AutoCAD/BricsCAD at an advanced level

Proven experience delivering civil design and drafting projects independently

Strong knowledge of local authority and government drafting requirements

Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand Standards

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities

Experience with dams, landfills, and multidisciplinary civil projects highly regarded

Qualifications

Drafting or Engineering qualification (essential)

Exceptional proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD/BricsCAD (essential)

MS Office proficiency (essential)
