About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dental practice in Docklands, VIC 3008 as a part-time Dental Assistant and Dental Receptionist. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, friendly and well-established dental clinic while developing your skills in the dental industry.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and passing instruments as required

Greeting and welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling patient enquiries

Performing basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management

Ensuring the dental practice maintains high standards of cleanliness and infection control

Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for all patients

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar patient-facing role, preferably in a dental practice

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients of all ages

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry

A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour

A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care
