Happy Smiles for Kids is a specialist paediatric dental clinic looking for talented and passionate people to join our evolving team in the sunny bayside suburb of Cheltenham.

We specialise in making those early dental years for children as positive and rewarding as possible, while also helping their families feel at ease. You will also be able to work alongside our famous Certified therapy pooch Mr Miso (sometimes he is more for us than the patients).

What we are looking for:

- An Experienced Dental Assistant looking for a new rewarding career path (full time or part time 4 days/week),

OR

- A Trainee Dental Assistant who is looking for an exciting new direction (full time or part time 4 days/week)

- Available to work 7.30am to 5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays – 36.5 to 38 hours per week

Communicates effectively and works well within a team

Has an enthusiasm for helping and caring for patients

Enjoys working with children

Wants variety – as we offer a range of services to patients; from working at the clinic to assisting for procedures under general anaesthesia in hospitals

Enjoys working Monday to Friday and not weekends

Would like to gain nationally recognised qualifications within an ever growing industry

This position is NOT suitable for overseas trained dentists.

Further requirements for the role include:

Legally able to work in Australia

Working with children check (WWC) is ideal but can be applied for at the time of successful employment

Current drivers license and reliable transport (due to working at multiple hospitals)

Up to date Covid-19 vaccinations (this is a requirement of working within the day hospitals we utilise)
