About the role

As a Leading Hand at Link-Force Au', you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating construction teams on-site in Brisbane, QLD. This casual position requires exceptional leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to upholding safety standards. You will be responsible for supervising a team of construction workers and ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and lead a team of construction workers to complete tasks efficiently and effectively

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations

Coordinate the allocation of tasks and resources to optimise productivity

Monitor and report on progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise

Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery

What we're looking for

Substantial experience 1 as a Leading Hand or Foreperson in the construction industry & 5 years' experience as a Formwork Carpenter

Strong technical understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Proven track record of ensuring health and safety compliance on construction sites

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
