About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Assistant to join our team at ARX Placement Solutions Pty Ltd in our Sydney office. This is a full-time role offering strong prospects for career development and long-term growth within our expanding business.

As an Accounts & Finance Assistant at ARX, you’ll play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations of the firm, working closely with our Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing accounts payable and receivable

Conducting daily bank reconciliations and transaction monitoring

Issuing invoices and managing debtor follow-ups

Assisting with payroll, BAS preparation, and financial reporting

Data entry, maintaining financial records, and managing internal finance systems

Providing administrative support for finance, compliance, and operational projects

About You:

We’re looking for a motivated, reliable candidate who brings:

1–3 years’ experience in an accounts or finance-related role

Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software

Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent time management and organisational skills

A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Accounting or finance qualifications (highly regarded)
