About the position

Council’s Building Services Unit within the Development Services Department is looking for a Building Support Officer who will be responsible for efficient and effective administrative support and assistance to the Building Services Team.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Support the Team Leader Building Support and Coordinator Building Services with the development and maintenance of the register for swimming pools and spas.
• Provide administrative support to other areas of the Building Unit and Development Services Department as required
• Develop strong and positive relationships with both internal and external customers

This is a part time role working 19 hours per week. Working days are to be coordinated with the permanent incumbent (parental leave return).

This position is a Band 4 currently remunerated at $74,536.73 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
