About the Role
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with strong expertise across Cisco and Fortinet technologies. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for deploying, securing, and optimising enterprise networks while providing technical support and guidance to clients. You’ll work across complex environments, ensuring network security, availability, and performance are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and manage Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and secure network infrastructure.

Implement and maintain secure routing, switching, and perimeter security solutions.

Monitor and respond to security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities.

Perform firewall rule reviews, access control management, and compliance checks.

Support client environments with upgrades, troubleshooting, and best practice security.

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver robust network and security projects.

Document designs, changes, and incidents accurately.

Skills & Experience

3–7 years’ experience as a Network or Security Engineer.

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco (ASA, Firepower, Catalyst, ISR/ASR) and Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) solutions.

Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL).

Experience with firewall migrations, policy optimisation, and advanced troubleshooting.

Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms desirable.

Relevant certifications highly regarded: Cisco CCNP Security / CCIE, Fortinet NSE 7.

Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
