We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on iconic projects, contribute to technical excellence, and be part of a business that values growth, initiative, and a balanced lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take the lead or collaborate on the structural design of multi-storey RC/PT buildings using ETABS, focusing on overall building behaviour and compliance with AS/NZS 1170.2/.4.
• Design efficient and practical floor systems in RAM Concept, including slab layouts, PT tendons, and checks for deflection, vibration, and staged construction.
• Apply sound engineering judgment through first-principles checks, simplified models, and peer reviews to validate design solutions.
• Work closely with Revit drafters to turn your designs into clear, coordinated construction drawings and documentation.
• Prepare calculations, design briefs, and technical reports, and respond to RFIs to support project coordination and client meetings.
• Contribute ideas for value engineering and improve constructability throughout the design process.
• Ensure all work aligns with Australian standards and internal QA procedures.
• Assist during D&C tender phases by exploring design options and helping with quick-turnaround studies when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5–7 years of experience in consultancy, delivering multi-storey commercial and residential buildings.
• Proficient in ETABS, RAM Concept, and strong first-principles engineering skills.
• Proven track record in preparing coordinated structural documentation with Revit teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident interfacing with clients, architects, and contractors.
• Deep knowledge of Australian Standards (NCC, AS 3600, AS/NZS 1170.0/.1/.2/.4).

Strongly Preferred Skills:

• Experience with PT and RC design using RAPT.
• Exposure to tall building lateral systems, transfer structures, foundations/piles, precast, and facade systems.
• Involvement in D&C tender support and value engineering.
