Ohana for Youth oversees Arcadia College and Ohana College, which are both Co-Ed Independent Special Assistance Secondary School's for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling. Our stunning, purpose built schools are located at Robina and Meadowbrook. Our organisation bases it's philosophy on establishing positive and respectful relationships between adults and students to maximise engagement and academic achievement set in a structured nurturing welfare based environment. Reporting to our Group Enrolments Manager, we require a suitably qualified and experienced Enrolments Officer. The Enrolments Officer will manage enrolments for Ohana College and be required to work 4 days per week at Robina and one day per week at Meadowbrook.
This will be a Fixed term full-time position until October 2025 ( with the possibility to extend )
Selection Criteria:
Experience working as an Enrolments Officer in an Educational setting, preferred but not essential.
Professional verbal and written communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Outstanding presentation and the capacity to develop genuine connections with parents and carers of potential students.
Meticulous attention to detail with experience in managing high levels of administration and communication.
Advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite of products, together with a good working knowledge and understanding of database management programs.
Highly organised with the ability to balance and resolve conflicting priorities and work to deadlines.
Demonstrated experience in dealing appropriately with highly confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to exercise substantial independent judgement, initiative and problem-solving techniques.
Have a comprehensive understanding of ‘Duty of Care’.
Experience working with dis-engaged students and students with disabilities.
Skills & Qualifications required:
Experience using TASS.Web will be highly regarded
Advanced computer & Microsoft Suite Skills.
Enrolment experience highly regarded.
Current Paid (P) Qld Working With Children Blue Card.
