Korowa is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our Learning Support team, supporting students with additional learning needs and helping them to achieve their full potential. The LSO will assist with the integration of specific students into the classroom environment and provide valuable support to teachers throughout this process

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
A commitment to the School’s Values; Courage, Curiosity and Integrity
The ability to relate to senior school students, particularly those with additional needs
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to create modified and tailored curriculum tasks for individual students
A professional manner with the ability to connect with staff, students and parents
A proficiency in the use of digital technologies, particularly with regards to supporting students with learning difficulties
A willingness to work collaboratively, as well as autonomously as required
Completion of Certificate IV in School Based Education Support or relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
A minimum of three years’ experience supporting learning support students in an educational setting.
