About us:

Red Feather Inn is a historic convict-built sandstone buildings, built in 1842. It features modern suites with views of the serene garden. It is located in Hadspen in the beautiful Meander Valley, approximately a 15-minute drive to the centre of Launceston. The Inn and associated cottages accommodate up to 35 people and is the departure point for the Tasmanian Walking Company's (TWC's) Bay of Fires and Cradle Mountain Hut walks.

About the role:

As a Room Attendant, you’ll play a crucial role in the beginning and end of each guest’s adventure. Whether preparing a beautifully presented suite, ensuring common areas feel inviting, or providing a warm and quiet touch behind the scenes, your work ensures every detail is just right.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards
• Handle laundry as required
• Ensure bathrooms, kitchens, and public areas are spotless and well-stocked
• Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as directed by management

What you will bring:

• Previous housekeeping experience (preferred, but not essential)
• A keen eye for detail and pride in a job well done
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of guest privacy
• Ability to work alternate weekends
• Must have reliable transportation
