About the role
We are seeking a Senior Corporate Project Manager to join our Organisational Planning and Development (OPD) team. The Senior Corporate Project Manager takes project management responsibility for leading vital and transformational organisation wide projects. This will be undertaken by forming and leading project teams consisting of various managers and other staff as required.
The position resides within the Change team of the Organisational Planning and Development Business Unit. Organisational Planning and Development builds capacity, efficiency and quality, bringing to life and delivering our community’s vision, values, aspirations and priorities.
The Senior Corporate Project Manager is also responsible for the development, implementation, regular review and promotion of the City’s Corporate Project Management Framework for all non-infrastructure project work. This involves assisting with the development of processes, templates, protocols and roles and responsibilities to applied for non-infrastructure projects and ongoing support and advice to end users of the framework.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;
- Project Planning
- Tendering and contract management
- Delivery management and oversight
- Budget management
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship and management
- Project tracking, completion and acquittal reporting
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Management, Commerce or a relevant discipline.
- Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, working together and breaking down silos between Business Units
- Experience in Contract Management
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.
