About Us?
The Mob Link Regional Relievers are a team of Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers and GP’s who provide support to IUIH member services and contribute to outreach events across SEQ. Providing a coordinated and integrated approach to the delivery of comprehensive health care services. The Mob Link Care Coordinators provide a comprehensive linkage and coordination service to address gaps in care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at the interfaces between home/community, primary care, and secondary and tertiary care services.
A rare and exciting opportunity has presented for the right person to join the IUIH Mob Link Team. Reporting to the Mob Link Manager, The Regional and Clinical Team Leader provides operational leadership & ongoing development of the Regional Relieving team and oversight of Mob Link telehealth services with the Virtual Care Team and Care Coordination

About the Role?
The position holds responsibility for maintaining and growing a skilled and competent workforce, sustaining a culture and focus on quality and safety, achieving clinical and business KPIs, ensuring service development and improvement in response to client, family and community needs and aspirations.

  • Virtual Care Team- MBS billing, rostering and day to day management
  • Rostering of clinical staff
  • Liaising with member service
  • Staff management including payroll and HR tasks
  • Coordination of clinical incident management in collaboration with the Mob Link Manager
  • Contribution to the Primary Health Care Quality and Safety Committee
  • Support Mob Link Senior Care Coordinators with referral allocation
  • Support Mob Link Care Coordinators with clinical enquiries

Day to Day Duties

  • Recruit, onboard a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Implement robust processes to maintain high standards of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with member services and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure regional Mob Link staff – including GP regional relievers, Nurses, Admin, and potentially others are allocated across the region in line with service priority.
  • Ensure that efficient procedures for staff management are in place, such as grievance processing, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and monitoring.
  • Maintain and grow effective communication with network Practice Managers across the SEQ ATSICCHS clinic.
  • Ensure regular administrative and clinical audits are conducted to support quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and track team and service performance, teams should receive regular feedback to see where they are performing well and where they need to make improvements to meet goals and enhance performance.
  • Maintain clinical practice and contribute to clinical service delivery by participating in the regional roster to ensure nursing cover in clinics and on the Virtual Care Team.
  • Be available at short notice to work onsite, to support member services and the extended Primary Healthcare Service


About You?

  • To perform this role, it is Preferred that the incumbent is registered with no restrictions with AHPRA
  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with minimal 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
  • Current Criminal History Check or willing to obtain

Highly Desirable

  • Strong leadership experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks and manage competing priorities
