This is a newly created Team Leader position with the opportunity to shape your role!

Our Positive Behaviour Support Team has grown, and we are looking for an additional Team Leader to join our established team.

In this role there are no KPI's, with a focus on supporting our PBSP's to provide quality, best-practice support to our participants.

Hybrid role with flexibility of location - this can include the Gold Coast/Logan, Brisbane, Ipswich or North Lakes/Caboolture

We have a supportive Management team: You will have the full support of our PBS Management team and the entire Hively Leadership - this includes our established Practice Lead, Team Leader and Senior Practitioners, our General Manager and our Managing Director!

We are committed to supporting our participants in their own environment: despite recent NDIS changes (travel cuts, funding blocks) our practitioners still ensure face to face visits occur

We offer a supportive leadership pathway and this position would suit a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner looking to take the next step to progress their career or an experienced Team Leader wanting to expand their experience.

We are a genuinely supportive and flexible organisation and there is real opportunity to shape this role depending on your experience and preferences. For example, depending on the applicant, this role could include a strong focus on supervision, peer review and compliance, or be more focused on team building and mentoring across the team.

At Hively we support a mix of working with clients in the community tailored to employee location, working from home and one day a week working from our East Brisbane office.

About the role

As Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading our PBS team to deliver high-quality services. You will be empowered to shape and grow with your role. We are a growing organisation and our Leaders actively shape the future of PBS at Hively.

You will provide excellent support, leadership and management to our growing team of practitioners. This includes supervision and mentoring, peer review and professional development.

You will have the full support of the management team, including both our Practice Lead and Team Leader in Positive Behaviour Support, our Managing-Director, General Manager and our experienced administrative team.

Our focus is on providing the best possible service for our clients and support for our team! We take work culture seriously, with ongoing PD + career progression opportunities for those seeking a leadership pathway.

This role includes the ability to work from our East Brisbane office and WFH.

We are serious about providing quality support – for both our clients and the Hively team.

What We're Looking For:

A highly motivated and currently registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner - proficient, advanced or specialist

An experienced Team Leader or the ability to develop into a Team Leader role

Relevant Tertiary Qualifications are desirable (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences)

A driven and committed individual who works well both independently and as part of our multi-disciplinary team

Sound understanding of evidence-based approaches and quality delivery of service

Commitment to best practice and person-centred outcomes for clients

Ability to represent Hively in a person-centred, respectful and professional manner at all times
