Key Responsibilities

As a Practice Nurse at Genesis Health Precinct, you will play an integral role in patient care and clinic operations, including:

Providing patient care and clinical support to our GPs

Administering immunisations and vaccinations (childhood, travel, and adult)

Chronic disease management, including GPMPs and TCAs

Conducting Health Assessments (45–49 year checks, Over-75s, etc.)

Managing recalls, reminders, and results follow-up

Assisting with pre-employment medicals and occupational health services

Supporting quality improvement initiatives within the practice

Essential Requirements

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)

Immunisation accreditation (or willingness to obtain)

Immunisation accreditation must be obtained before starting the position

Demonstrated clinical skills and commitment to patient-centred care

Previous general practice experience highly desirable

Full Australian working rights

Desirable Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Proficiency in clinical software (Best Practice preferred)

Organised, reliable, and adaptable to a dynamic clinic setting
