What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
The MNCLHD are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our amazing team in the Intensive Care Unit at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
About you
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge and ability relevant to working within a Level 5 or 6 Intensive Care setting
- Proven clinical problem solving skills to maximise patient care
- Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome based care.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse that applies to Adult Intensive Care Unit clinical setting
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload. Participate in a seven day rotating roster including public holidays and night duty.

Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie Hastings Local Government Area in the south to Coffs Harbour Local Government Area in the north.
