About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for a skilled Automotive Upholsterer/Trimmer to join our growing team. This is a full-time role and an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise on a diverse range of trimming projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing vehicle interior upholstery repairs, restorations, and modifications
  
• Trimming and re-trimming seats, door panels, headliners, dashboards, and other interior components
  
• Using a wide range of specialist upholstery tools and equipment to deliver precision results
  
• Consulting with customers to understand their needs and providing expert recommendations
  
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  
• Supporting the overall success and reputation of the upholstery department

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about craftsmanship and takes pride in producing interiors of the highest standard. You will have:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (essential)
  
• Recent experience in automotive trimming or upholstery (essential)
  
• Strong knowledge of vehicle interior components and materials - experience with Defenders and classic Porsches is a distinct advantage
  
• Completion of a Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology (highly regarded)
  
• Proficiency in sewing, pattern-making, form shaping, and trimming tools
  
• A positive, team-oriented attitude, with the ability to also work independently
  
• A genuine passion for craftsmanship and creating interiors that set vehicles apart
