The Role - Full time, based at Epping Head Office
We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our Finance team, who will work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and collaborates across a wide range of internal teams including Operations, People & Culture, IT, and the Project Management Office. Externally, the role engages with auditors, banks, and other industrial stakeholders to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
Strategic Financial Analysis
Deliver high-quality financial reports, KPI dashboards, and trend analysis that inform strategic decision.
Lead financial modelling for projects and initiatives using BI tools and data platforms.
Provide insights that support prudential compliance, grant acquittals, and operational performance.
Enhance financial reporting systems and tools, including Power BI, SQL, and Adaptive Planning.
Maintain data integrity across financial platforms and integration hubs
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and automate routine tasks
Business Partnering and Commercial Support
Act as a trusted advisor to business units, supporting budget development, forecasting, and performance reviews
Develop and review commercial business cases that align with SCC’s strategic goals
Build strong relationships with operational leaders to support financial literacy and decision-making
Innovation and Systems
Enhance financial reporting systems and tools, including Power BI, SQL, and Adaptive Planning
Maintain data integrity across financial platforms and integration hubs
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and automate routine tasks

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial analysis and business partnering
Proven track record in improving business models and performance
Experience in healthcare or aged care settings (Desirable)
CA, CPA, or MBA qualifications (Desirable)
Skills and Capability
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proficiency in BI tools, Adaptive Planning, and SQL (Desirable)
Experience with Epicor and Power BI (Desirable)
Strong understanding of financial and operational business drivers
Knowledge of aged care legislation and market trends (Desirable)
