Accounts Officer – Growing Transport & Container Business

The Role

We are seeking an Accounts Officer who is not just skilled with numbers, but also exciting, professional, and well-presented — someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team in a fast-moving business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Accounts Payable & Receivable – daily management of invoices, payments, and receipts.

Purchasing & Currency Management – managing container purchases, including USD to AUD conversions.

Bookkeeping with Xero – reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate daily records.

Reporting & Administration – maintaining spreadsheets and preparing clear financial reports for management.

Team Collaboration – working with management to improve processes and support business growth.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is both professional and personable, ready to make an impact.

Experience in accounts payable, receivable, and bookkeeping.

Strong knowledge of Xero and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).

High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Excellent communication skills and well-presented.

Preferred: Experience in transport, logistics, or intermodal shipping containers (ISO).
